Orange Cocoa espresso martini
#ad21+ Don’t make a regular Espresso Martini, make this instead…
Together with my friends at @luxardousa, we’re going to #ElevateWithEspresso by making one of my favorite twists on a Espresso Martini using Luxardo’s Espresso Liqueur. Today I’m using a local Rhum Agricole as my base spirit since the tropical flavor profiles pair so well with this espresso liqueur which contains notes of sweet vanilla and chocolate. Luxardo Espresso liqueur features a thirty-day infusion of coffees from Brazil, Columbia, and Kenya. Pair all this with some orange notes, enhanced with saline and you’ve got yourself one of the best espresso martinis you’ve ever had.
Cheers y’all.
Coffee Infused Kingston Negroni
Coffee + Jamaican Rum + #NegroniWeek seems like a winning combo, right?
I’ve been wanting to use this pour over stand from Farmhouse Pottery for a cocktail and just haven’t found the right occasion for it…. UNTIL NOW. If you haven’t had the combo of coffee + Campari, it's a match made in heaven so you gotta try this one out.
#ProTip : if you find this a little too bitter for your taste, add a pinch of salt and thank me later! Cheers y’all.
The Dark 'N Stormy
Do you know how the Dark ’n Stormy got its name? It’s credited to a sailor who saw this drink and proclaimed that it was “the color of a cloud only a fool or a dead man would sail under.” Two ingredients. That’s all that’s required to pull off a combo that’s rich, fizzy, sweet, spicy, and satisfying - you’re dang right it’s perfect for this hot summer weather. Cheers y’all.
The Pineapple Champagne Punch
This one packs a PUNCH. Looking back at that time I worked with Garden and Gun to recreate Dorothy Heyward’s Champagne Punch thanks to Wayne Curtis
Reposwizzle
When in doubt, always float the rum. This tequila based tiki-inspired cocktail is sure to please. The black strap rum floater is a must-have. Cheers y’all.
Black Strap Mojito
You can’t beat this riff on a Mojito. Especially when you top it with a healthy dose of more rum.
The Neighborhood Stroll
Here is the cocktail I made using aquafaba (liquid from chick peas). It is perfect for any occasion, whether you’re looking for an after dinner drink recipe or looking to dunk on the neighborhood basketball hoop... this one is for you... ok, maybe don’t try drinking and dunking.
The Spiced Apple Spritz
You didn't think I'd leave you hanging with just ONE use for that Spiced Panela syrup did you? Get ready to savor the cozy flavors of the season with our delightful holiday-inspired spritz cocktail. This refreshing and aromatic drink features crisp apples infused with a blend of warm fall spices, creating a perfect balance of sweet and spicy notes. Let this exquisite spritz be your go-to beverage for festive gatherings or simply a cozy night in. Cheers to a taste of autumn in every sip!
The Temperance Cocktail
I've made a ton of cocktails over the past few years, but if I were to label one a Holy City Handcraft 'Signature' cocktail, this particular one may have come closest. Check out my collaboration with Striped Pig Distillery and Charleston Food Writer (Candy Herriott) as I create one of the best cocktails I've ever made (if I do say so myself) -- recipe after the jump!
